FILL THE HOUSE WITH LIFE
When we sat on the park bench opposite the former amplifier office on Pfaffenhofen's Ingolstädter Straße in August 2011 and spontaneously fell in love with the somewhat run-down building, we had no idea that the purchase decision would turn into an exciting life journey: an almost eight-year journey into building history with the discovery of undreamt-of abilities, sleepless nights, enriching encounters with a multitude of friendly and monument-loving people and new friendships. Last but not least, it is a journey to ourselves that brought us the realization that we can find fulfillment in it, a special onePlace of meetingto accomplish. Because we were so excited about the house, it wasn't until after we bought it that we seriously considered what it could become later. Experience has taught us that there is never THE concept and that ideas and concepts are living developments and every result is the sum of ideas given as gifts

Considerations and, above all, the experience of what actually is fun and important to us:After eight years of renovation, a house with many possibilities was created and great residents, the office of the district youth association and a variety of publicly usable rooms in the former main amplifier office in Pfaffenhofen, which we rent out on a daily basis.

All rooms can be rented on a daily or weekly basis.We do not have a price list but discuss each project individually. After all, nothing is “off the shelf” with us. We generally calculate cultural events with a reduced budget.

THE EVENTS
With the former amplifier office gradually being put into operation as a cultural meeting point since 2016, we have already been able to hold a number of events.
Whether as a photo location, place for workshops, readings and concerts, exhibitions, wine tastings or cooking training courses with renowned chefs - the range of possibilities is wide.Making our house accessible to the public is our passion, but we only organize events that fit the cultural and open spirit of our house. All prices are agreed individually – nothing is “off the shelf” with us.
OFFICIAL: INSPIRED BY ART AND CULTURE
CONCERTS
Well-known musicians have given house concerts in the amplifier hall in recent years: a Schumann evening in 2017 and the world premiere of a Beethoven project in 2020 are just two examples. The hall has excellent acoustics and there is a restored grand piano from Schiedmayer & Söhne Stuttgart from 1913.

REINFORCEMENT FOR ALL SENSES
Little is known about daily life and workPfaffenhofen amplifier office probably used to be like that. As an important telecommunications location, the building and its tasks had national significance in order to maintain communication - even in the event of defense. Therefore, what went on behind high walls and windows, some of which were secured by iron shutters, was also top secret. That's why there are almost no historical recordings. We researched a lot and found little, so we decided to at least write down the new stories.
The spirit of a home is important –
not the stones from which it is built.

TO THE VERSTÄRKERAMT
DAS VERSTÄRKERAMT is located on the edge of the attractive old town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, a few minutes' walk from the main square. Numerous hotels are in the immediate vicinity.
Munich or Ingolstadt can be easily reached by train or car in around 30 minutes.
Munich Airport is also a half-hour drive via the A9.
